Dean - I'm not sure I can help regarding who the medical experts are.  Yale
and Tufts are two prominent med schools in New England and both appear to
have Lyme research programs.  (There are others I didn't check... Harvard,
Brown, etc)  Their websites MIGHT contain pointers to additional resources
such as practitioners.  Johns Hopkins, CDC, and NIAID (National Institue of
Allergy & Infectious Diseases) - all have ongoing Lyme research, so again,
same comment, their websites might point to additional resources.
