[AT] Drill bits for drilling our old tractor steel and iron.

I sold my Drill Dr. on Ebay for what I gave for it and I just sharpen 
bits by hand.  A magnifying lens headgear is a lot of help when 
sharpening.  It lets me see how I have ground the sharp edge and the 
relief angle as I call it.  The angle that the bit is ground behind the 
cutting edge is what determines how much is cut on each turn of the 
bit.  Understanding the angles seemed to help me to sharpen by hand.  
Being able to really see the edge of the bit with the magnifier made a 
world of difference.
