I worked for a company that made electrical schematics for machine tool CNC upgrades using Word. Worked OK once you got the hang of it. The advantage was that you could update on the customer site and leave a pdf of the as-builts on the CNC hard drive.

[Phil Auten]  <sni> I made some really nice signs with Autocad, but when we got Microsoft Word it became a lot easier. <sni>
