Fafnir was a biggie at one time. Installed a lot of replacement pillow blocks in fans a lifetime ago. I guess there isn’t a 6 in grunge. You can always mic the OD, ID and width in MM and look up that way. And of course Google is our friend! Is that in a pillow block? Shows as an insert bearing

The name/numbers are “fafnir” “207krr”.   As I understand it Fafnir(which I have never heard of of before) is now Timken and that number seemed available at several online outlets but only NAPA could get it locally.   We used to have a Bearings Distributors locally but they closed up.  We have a Graingers locally but the web site said they don’t have it.

If I need something for haymaking that is almost always right, quality, and in stock I go to Messicks but they ain’t cheap and then there is the shipping delay and costs.  Plus I haven’t lost time if the one at NAPA isn’t right.   The bearing at Messicks can still ship out tomorrow.

Appears to be a 6207 shielded, both sides I would assume. No zerk. McMaster.com <http://McMaster.com>  if someone is away from a store. I’d get sealed both sides but shielded is OK as well. Very common size in 15HP electric motors on the fan end. We had a drawer full of bearings at the wine factory.

Spencer, I don't want to brag, but I think I have one or 2 of those in my bearing stash.   Back in the 90's when Bailey's had a lot of cheap bearings I ordered about $2000 worth of bearings to have in case something broke.  Now the problem is just finding them....

This model was manufactured from 1968-1972.  Judging by the paint it is original equipment, so I guess 47 to 51 years of service is acceptable :-)
