Mr. Baker
I was interested to hear of your current career dealing with historical auto manufacturing sites. I had not really known there was a Society of Automotive Historians.

I asked you if you knew what building(s) at the Rouge complex the Fordson F tractors were assembled in. I forgot to mention that the Fordson was also assembled somewhere before the Rouge.

I also forgot to mention that when I worked for Severstal, the former Ford Steel plant mentioned in Charlie Sorensen's biography, someone had mentioned that they believed Fordson F assembly was in a building east of Miller Road. Severstal sold out to AK Steel since then. They may have been confusing the Fordson F with the later Ford with Ferguson system 9N tractor. 9N and later 8N assembly moved to Ford Highland Park.

You also mentioned that Lamborghini was your favorite tractor brand.

Ford and Fiat have one thing in common with Lamborghini. all built tractors and automobiles.

The Cork factory where Fordson tractors were assembled from 1917 to 1922 later assembled Ford automobiles until its closing in 1984 or so.

18 to 20 years ago I took a number of courses in the Vehicle Design program at Macomb Community College. That program was substantially changed by the growth of Solid Modelling..
