James AT List Member (jamesgpeck at hotmail.com); Back 25+ years ago I was involved with installing some Refrigerator Foam equipment in a GE plant in Bloomington, Indiana. I encountered some people who worked at the Thomson TV plant also in Bloomington. I eventually got into the Thomson plant that had been relocated to South Juárez. I think I remember bumping into a person who had transferred to J town until he got his Mexican replacement trained.

Herb Metz AT List member and former Indiana U staff member (metz-h.b at comcast.net<mailto:metz-h.b at comcast.net>); In late 1980's there was considerable conversion effort by the CNG companies; fleet vehicle companies such as universities were one of the potential customers. Several of us at Indiana Univ. were invited to test drive one of the demo cars; so I volunteered and drive a car a lap around the Indianapolis 500 Speedway. Our Transportation Director opposed the project because he expected too many infrequent users would not observe posted instructions to flip the auxiliary switch from CNG to gasoline. Herb(GA)

James AT List Member (jamesgpeck at hotmail.com); Refueling is also a problem with battery. One vehicle CNG conversion retains the ability to run on gasoline.
