For those of us trying to make small farms work, sometimes you have to be
creative. One of the revenue/barter streams we are realizing is photography.
The reason I am posting this is because Dean Vinson's very photogenic farm
came to mind when I was thinking of a recent model visit. Some of you might
be interested in pursuing this angle as well.

One of the things we have discovered about having a small farm with lots of
old stuff and baby animals around is it's popular with photographers. One of
them is a professional photographer that does work with a couple of
modeling agencies. She has farm experience so we barter farm sitting for
letting her use it as a photography venue. No revenue but at least we get
to take vacations :-)

Since the 430 V is not worth looking at right now, I thought I'd pass these
pictures along. She takes lots of really beautiful photographs on a farm.
Some are for contract work (catalogs, etc.). Some are simply photographs for
models to use in their "book"( whatever that is).

So I thought you'd enjoy these pics. The male models hang out with the
tools in the shop and get their pictures taken with the tractors. The
females models almost always opt for the babies.

PS. Both are professional full time models. You might recognize the guy.
He has been in Cabella catalogs.
