You and me both Al,  my mom's house came within 2 inches of flooding in the
flood after Floyd with no flood insurance.  It's not in a flood zone or 
wasn't.
I've got two generators.  One is a pull start 6 kw that runs on gasoline. 
The other
is an electric start dual fuel gas/propane that I never run on anything but 
propane.
I've test run both and have about 25 gallons of gasoline and a probably 12 
to 15 gallons
of propane.   (I know you don't measure propane in gallons but in it's 
liquid state that's about
what I've got)

Sounds like a lot of rain is coming, county is under a tropical storm
warning.  We got out of school two hours early today, it and several
other schools in the county are getting set up for shelters for people
living in low-lying areas.  As long as we don't lose power, I'm
planning for a relaxing day in front of the tv tomorrow.....all the
rain reminds me of hurricane Floyd in 1999, I pray we don't have
flooding like that again.
