I never tried to drive one of those Mack Triplex rigs.  The 
worst I ever tried was a GMC with a 5 speed main tranny and 
4 speed auxiliary that was not synchronized.  I figured out real
quick that I'd have a tough time trying to split shift it and just
left the AUX box alone!

A B model Mack was my first real truck to drive at the age of 12.  It 
had 3 sticks in the floor plus a pull cable for the lockout diff.  If I 
could only find one today that was not completely rusted out....  That 
Mack was the cause of me having a terminal case of rust fever...
