I have had all good experiences with E-trailer. I do, however, buy my
brake parts locally. It has become so that replacing the whole assy has
not only become easier, but sometimes cheaper, and for sure quicker. I
have done both ways. It just depends on which parts are needed.
As for bearings, I clean, inspect, and reuse if they check out good. I
hand pack rather than rely on bearing buddies or EZ lube. I have one
trailer with EZ lube and I do add a little grease to it from time to
time and it does seem to work okay. It does not have many miles on it,
so I cannot be a very good judge. That one I have not had any reason to
take apart and inspect.
