John I'm not in a big hurry. If I want to try it out this fall I can
pick one row at a time. Our neighbors still plant 36-38" so they may
let me make a couple rounds to see if it will run like it's supposed
to.

Deer corn market is something I've considered, if I could ever find
the land on which to "play!"

When the time comes, there are plenty of worn out JD 7000s around
here. What I'll probably do is this: I've got enough spare parts to
put together a couple IH 185s on a toolbar. What I'd REALLY like to
do is over time put together an IH 404 to plant with, a 2 row planter,
and an 8' IH #10 drill. This is a long way off but my goal is to hobby
farm a few acres "the old fashioned way."

That said, my buddy and I are still trying to get our schedules
together. Just in case I need a Plan B, anyone know anybody doing any
hauling?
