Dittos! There is a joke that I like to tell when the opportunity
presents. My neighbor is a plumber. I told it to him and he didn't think
it was too funny but I enjoyed laughing at his reaction.

It seems a Dr. had leaking faucet. It drip, drip, dripped all night on
Saturday night and he could take it any longer so he called his plumber
to come over on Sunday and fix it. It took the plumber about 10 minutes
to tighten up the washers in the faucet and no parts. He charged the Dr.
$300 bucks.

The Dr. nearly had a stroke. He said $300.00 for 10 minutes. I realize
it's Sunday
but I'm a doctor and I don't make that kind of money.

The plumber said: ................. " I DIDN'T EITHER WHEN I WAS A
DOCTOR"!!!!

I have a neighbor who owns a HVAC company, he has a friend that lives 45
miles away. They were talking last January and the friend mentioned his
furnace had gone out overnight. The guy called a local company to fix
it, not wanting to bother my neighbor. He said they diagnosed it as a
bad circuit board controller. He said the guy was down in the basement
for 15 minutes, the charge $700. When my neighbor got home he looked up
the part, his cost, $90. Nice payday for 15 minutes work and a $90 part.
And that's why I do whatever I can myself.
