If you are still looking for a manifold for that Hercules QXD here are a couple of good leads. I have had good luck getting Hercules parts from all of them. 
I would first try, Meyers Tractor and Combine Salvage Aberdeen, SD 605-225-0185 
They are a very large salvage operation, and they keep most things, after dismantling, in buildings. They would be good for used parts. 
I have gotten new engine parts from E.C. Power Systems of Idaho Bosie, ID. 208-342-6541 talk to Weldon Fisher or "Ken". Possibly they still work there. 
I even had good luck at the local O'REILLY auto parts store.
