[AT] OFF Topic: 4 month Verizon WAR

I really don't understand it either Steve, I owned the equipment
I had/have. When I finally did cancel they started talking about
sending me boxes to ship my equipment back to them and I had
to straighten them out on that. They have been paid on direct
band draft every month for I guess 20 years since I switched to them
from Direct TV. ( I still get mail from Direct TV begging me to come back.)
They have never touched my equipment or had a complaint or problem
with it since they installed it even though for several years now I
occasionally
had to pull the card out of it and re-insert it to get the thing to work.
That is what prompted me to ask for new equipment but they just flat
wouldn't
provide it.

Wow, I've never had an issue with them really, other than the price.
I've owned the equipment from day one and they replaced my old receiver
free twice. I added the new dish/LNB head myself when the channels were
moved. Not sure why the big difference in the way you were treated.
