[AT] and OT The Terror is back!

Hi Cecil. WE did just fine here on the NC coast.
Oh there was some minor tidal flooding, major I guess
to those affected but comparatively not much to worry
about. The folks that took a licking were down in
SC. My sister lives just outside of Charleston. Here house
was high and dry but she was delayed 2 or 3 days in making
a trip up here to see my mom while she waited to try to
find a route out of there that wasn't flooded. It was the same
sort of flood that we had here in 2000 (or was it 99) after hurricane Floyd.
That rain event from Floyd was no worse than some we had in the 50's and
60's. The reason we flooded so bad from Floyd was NC DOT and US DOT.
In the years from the early 60's on they built a lot of four lane highways
across
flood plains and did so by filling the road bed with dirt in all but the
actual
stream beds. They thus created a bunch of long dams all over eastern NC.
Upstream of those highways is where the flooding was. The day I went to
get my mom out of her house the water was rising an inch an hour and got
within 2 inches of getting in the lowest floor of her house. When I was on
my
way to get her I was still able to get across one bridge that bridges the
creek
she lives near. The water was almost all the way to the top of the
roadbed on the up stream side of it. The down stream side had very little
water
in it but the water flowing through the bridge opening looked like it was
flowing out
of a huge pipe. Flow is not the word to use, it was shooting through the
bridge.
That was happening all over eastern NC. The flood water had never been
within 6 feet
of elevation from her house before those roads were built. Anyone that saw
coverage of
that flood on TV saw Bill Clinton in a predominantly black town called
Edgecombe Co.
The name escapes me at the moment. They were just up stream of US hwy 64
which had
fairly recently been "improved". The situation was the same there. A 4 or
5 mile long
flood plain (swamp) was dammed off by the new highway with only a few narrow
openings
for surface roads and creeks.

As for your message. I think I saw it hit the list but was really busy and
didn't have time to
read it at the time. Unfortunately I never got back to it. I'm not much of
a black helicopter
and tin foil hat fellow either, or at least I wasn't until recent years.
Now I don't totally dismiss
anything like that.

Charlie

I agree it is a heavy read, but I wold have appreciated about any
comment rather than wondering if it just died in cyberspace, or I pissed
off the entire group. I certainly did not want my name changed to
Walt!!!!..
When you get down to the part about the OKC bombing, I was there across
the street. I missed the explosion by about 30 seconds. However, I saw
the remains and the operations 4 hours later and for the next 8 weeks.
There are some things that could be explained and a lot that could
not. What really opened my eyes on that paper was the ability to
modify the weather. He also mentioned an ability to induce harmonic
vibrations into the earth's crust in order to create earthquakes.
Right now we are experiencing earthquakes in Oklahoma as large as a
5.0. The epicenter has moved around a bit until it now is centered over
Cushing OK. Cushing is the intersection of the 2 major pipelines that
supply fuel to the United states. It has been stated that 90% of the
Jet fuel goes through these pipes at Cushing, OK.
That is what makes me ask questions. I am not a conspiracy nut, but I
have done a lot of forensic engineering. Where this fits in with my
antique tractors is if the drought continues, I won't have any need to
use my antique tractors. It is just like the valve has been shut off.
Also, the sun shining on me now versus in June, just seems to be like
being too close to a heat lamp!!

I got Rye seed yesterday to plant over my wheat that I fed to the Army
worms. I hope to get it sowed today, but I will probably have to spray
for weeds or just disc it all up. There is a slim chance of Rain for
Friday, so I am trying to get the seed planted before that...
