Hi Dean:
Interesting page. I tend to get past the 55 and newer designations mostly
by declaring them "New-Fangled stuff" and generally ignoring them.
:-)
That's not to say that a 900 series tricycle isn't on my "probably not
going to happen" wish list... With an arm twisting I could also be forced
to adopt an 800.
I do hold out a bit of hope of acquiring another
Jubilee again but I wouldn't expect to find one with a hand clutch live PTO
like ours again.
More possible is maybe picking up a decent 9N.
I have always thought it would be cool to be able to display a 9N
Ford/Ferguson, an 8N Ford, a Ferguson TO-20 and a Ford Jubilee all in a
row... Along with a good bit of printed documentation as to how things
unfolded. Maybe, just maybe, I could keep a few guys from calling their
2N's a Jubilee and a few others from calling their 8N's Fordsons. Heck, I
might even keep somebody from running Craigslist ads claiming that their
Ferguson TO-20 is "the same as an 8N Ford and almost all parts will
interchange..."
:-) :-) :-)
