Massey sure made good use of the Chrysler flathead in their combines in 
the fifties.
AS did Cockshutt. Ford stuck with their flathead V8 in cars and trucks 
up til 1953 here
  in Canada. A pretty solid old engine. I've got a couple here that run. 
Just got the 52
started this past week.
And back to the MH tractors. I recall taking a picture of a neighbour's 
Massey a year or two
back. It was something like a 101 or 102 Junior (or senior?) It had the 
flathead.
