In 1997 or maybe 1998, Steve Sewell hosted my young son and me for a fine
afternoon of tinkering and general conversation with a Prairie Gold flavor.

That same young man now runs a store that converts old photos and videos to
digital format, and recently processed a bunch of my old slides.  Browsing
