[AT] [Bulk] Cold weather ahead......

It is supposed to get down to the single digits here in OK next week,
with some snow to start out with. We got about 2 inches in this last
snow, the second moisture we have had since September. It really made
the wheat jump. I got Nitrogen fert applied just before that first
rain, and there is something about snow laying on the ground and melting
in that just makes it jump...I think the day that the sun came out, it
jumped nearly 2 inches... However, by the time the ground gets solid
enough to graze the cows on, I will have to shut them off to prevent
damage from grazing...
I have been trying to get the old 112 CAT grader running to plow snow if
it gets bad. It has ad a problem with blowing really black smoke when
pulling and not having the power it should have. I finally got around to
checking things out and found that the air restriction indicator was not
staying down when it "tripped" to indicate a restriction. I got the
outer filter out and have a new one here, but the safety filter needed
changing also. I ordered one and they sent me the outer filter........

Guess I am going to have to just go to CAT....
