[AT] OFF Topic: 4 month Verizon WAR

I have had nothing but grief with a new Verizon Product  since April 21, 2015.  I won't go into
details but it was their MiFI Unit 6620 which we use here at home for Internet connection. We don't
have a choice because we don't have cable and couldn't get it if we wanted it, can't get DSL,
Satellite is too slow and expensive.  So for 4 months I have been fighting with Verizon to get their
unit to perform to what they sold it to do.  You would not believe the BS that they tried to use to
avoid fixing the problem.  I finally found the way to solve the problem. Threaten to take them to
small claims court and go to the Local Verizon Store and refused to accept their excuses until the
Store Manager finally came out and accepted the solution I had been trying to get for 4 months.  The
new unit arrived today and as far as I can tell most if not all of the problems have gone away. I have
14 days to test the unit at no cost. And will get a refund on the other unit that was more expensive.
AND not have to pay for the new unit.  SUCCESS FINALLY.  I'll tell you there were times when my mind
wanted to do a whole bunch of illegal things but being a stubborn old fart I finally prevailed. There
is no way it should have been this difficult. I just pity all those Verizon customer who put up with
Verizon's BS. It is really disgusting.
