I wouldn't waste money on anything found at home depot, Lowes or any similar store. It night cost thrice as much, but a commercial mower will last a lot longer.

20 years ago a friend of mine was involved with making the mold for a store brand grade mower. When they put an engine on the first deck out of their mold it ran for 120 hours before the deck failed. It took seven more tries before they got the runtime down to 80 hours.

I work for Deere, so obviously I'm biased, to you buying green. However I'd rather you buy a different brand elsewhere than a green mower from a box store: they are all junk at the box stores. In the long run you will be time, money, and frustration ahead if you buy quality now. (of course in the long run we are all dead)
