[AT] Dielectric Grease

Hi Joe,
When you wiggle the wires what (exactly) happens? Do all of the lights flicker? If so, perhaps the ground is bad. If only one (or one set does not work--ie running or turn) it may be a broken wire. A set of magnetic lights (4 pin) can also be used to test to see if the problem is with your truck. (Harbor Freight has them, sometimes on sale for $10.00.) There is also a neat little test plug that you simply plug into the electrical outlet on your truck. Keep in mind, also, that when you wiggle the plug on your trailer, you are often wiggling the wires that go to the trailer lights as well and one (or more) of them may be broken.

I thought the old ones were worn, so I went with all new, only to have the same problem. I was hoping to grease them up to solve my problem. Sounds like it won't hurt, but might not solve all my issues.
