Here is a different angle. I have a scan of the original invoice for an  
IH L110 that a neighbour bought from the local dealer in 1950 or 51. 
(Its somewhere here in my files) Price was right in around the $2000 
mark for a fully equipped , ready to work IH pickup. It would take a lot 
more bushels of wheat to buy a new farm pickup today.
