David, the Dixon RAM 50 Pro I have has been replaced by a 48" cut Ram 48
Pro.
It's list price is $4800.00 so the Simplicity is not out of line with it and
Simplicity
builds good stuff.

I bought a Simplicity model with a 48" deck a couple years ago. Most of
my mowing is on level areas but I do have a few hills to manage. All in
all I've been happy with mine - especially because I have a local dealer
if I have issues.
This one cost me a bit over $5K (US) so certainly not on the 'cheap'
route. I also looked at some others and the usual ones sold by the big
box stores left me cold.
