[AT] OT - remote computer access

Hi guys, Even though I am far from an expert, I am my 74 year old 
fathers IT guy. I have told him over and over not to open emails that 
are not from someone he knows, but he didn't listen to that advice on 
Friday. He opened one that said, "Notice to appear in Court" which 
purportedly told him to gather all his information and appear at a 
certain time. When he opened it all kinds of things popped up, and the 
rest is history. Now it's my job to fix it, only problem is I'm two 
hours away. Is there a way for me to access his computer (XP) from mine 
(Win 7)? I do have an XP machine at my disposal if that is necessary. 
Trying to do it over the phone is very slow and exasperating for him and 
for me. Thanks for any advice.
