I am interested in your project. It may even make a good subject for an article in Red Power.
Keep us posted on your project.

Subject: [Farmall] rubber lugs on steel

Hello!

I've been trying to find an inexpensive means to pull the lugs off my F-12
rear steel and put rubber on so I can make it street legal. Several
companies I've found make custom lugs for this type of thing, but they're
Pricey!

Considered doing the 'get a tire, cut it, stretch it' project, but didn't
like the amount of work and cost on that either.

I just received a sample from another company that deals in used conveyor
belts from mining and similar industrial sectors. They make several
products, one of which (the sample) at first-glance-test-fit will be a
bolt-on replacement for the lugs with no work needed to cut, drill or shape.
And they're cheap!! I'm excited by the prospect, and wanted to see if
anyone else had been working on a similar project, or wanted more info on
this one.

I'll be taking pictures and documenting the whole thing soon, assuming it
works out like I think it will.
