[AT] PTO compressors

Dick,
     That Deere compressor is a tire pump.  It would never blow out a 
sprinkler system.  You would need a tank to collect a volume of air 
first and that little pump would be a looong time filling it.  They were 
handy for pumping up a wagon tire, though.  I have used one many times, 
but I really can't remember how much pressure it would build up.  I am 
guessing 45 lbs.  If I recall correctly, there is just an oil soaked 
leather seal in there for sealing the piston.
