Dean,

If he buys one, remind him to either carry along a pair of leather 
gloves or allow time
for the little unit to cool down after he pumps for a spell. Bought one 
from our Deere dealer
in '58 or so, and never thought about the physics of compression much 
till I grabbed
the unit bare handed to slip it off the PTO shaft a few minutes after I 
first used it.
Only did that once.
