If grease is not working, can you replace them with a stainless steel hinge?
Try McMaster-Carr, they probably carry stainless piano hinge.

Subject: [AT] Tool box hinges

I have underbody tool boxes on my truck. I also live in a northern climate.
Anyone have a quick tip to keeping the hinges on the tool boxes functional?
I know the more I use them, the less likely they are to seize up, I've tried
a few different types of grease with limited success.

The hinges are piano type and don't lube up very well.

Enjoy, Joe
