I thought Sundays two hour presentation was a typical Ken Burns program;
very informative and probably very accurate. Tonite will be the last two
hours of this two part series. The Atlanta PBS station immediately reran
the show so we were able to catch some details that we missed during the
initial two hour viewing.

This is in addition to the depression of the 1930’s. So many farms in our
central KS area were lost that one
banker took his own life. I started driving tractor in early 1940’s and can
remember several places where sand
had blown, creating large low spots, and down wind of these low spots were
significant hills (deposits of sand).
