Interesting thread, and I know I can always count on several of you folks to
(a) have some interesting stories and (b) tell them well.  Thanks!

No recent tractor stuff to speak of in my garage, but I have been enjoying
tinkering on a conceptually similar winter project:  Cleaning up this old
color-position-light railroad signal.  I bought it from a guy in
Pennsylvania via eBay, and hauled it home (with at least an inch of
clearance to spare) in the trunk of my car.  Now it's in the basement.

Not sure yet what I plan to do with it, but I've always loved these things.
And patient disassembly and cleaning is just as fun and educational as on
other forms of old iron!
