Maybe that will be on Farmers headstone. If I am working with electrical, I
think of Farmer and check the grounds. That and shake hands with the
gearshift.

Like Farmer Used to say "Check the grounds".
I was trying to start my old ODOT truck to deliver hay in my hydraulic
dump trailer yesterday and it would just click. I checked it out and found
the braided strap from the frame to the bell housing was sorta
welded to the bolt. It has sparked and fried several times it looked
like. I tightened the bolt and it just clicked again. I installed a new
cable from the ground post on the other battery to another bolt on
the bell housing. It again just clicked. I got out my cordless
grinder ( Dewalt) and groud the straps contack surfaces and the bell
housing surfaces. This time it cranked over better than it had in the
last 2 years. The engine ran better as the inj pump solenoid was
holding fully open. the
axle shifter was working better, and my electric hydraulic valves were
working better than they had .....
Check the grounds.......
