Thanks for all the input. I compared the Chinese DeWalt at Lowes to the Chinese HF model and liked the looks of the DeWalt better. After reading the comments here and the reviews on HF's website, I decided to buy the DeWalt. It has more HP and folks appear to have less trouble with it. At least parts should be availabe a few years down the road. John Hall
