[AJD] Compact JD 650 tractor question

Charlie,

I own a JD 750 Compact Tractor but it doesn't have Power Steering. However, I have the
huge JD Service Manual for the 750. I would think the Power Steering on the 750 would be
similar or the same as a 650 so I could dig into this manual and see if there is anything
in it that would help.  Both were made by YanMar. Hopefully there is someone on the list
who has firsthand experience with this particular Power Steering. I don't. If you don't
get any help on this, just hit me up and I'll do some digging in the 750 Service Manual.

My s/son has a 1984-1986 compact JD 650 tractor.  As I understand it, it has lately
developed a problem with the power steering.  When turning to left, steering works
normally.  When turning to right, serious arm power is required to make it happen.  I can
come up with a couple of speculations as to cause for this condition, but suspect someone
on the list may have been through this problem and can  advise most likely problem and
fix.
