I agree with others who recomended both Mastercard and Visa.
Traveling a lot, I try to have each available just in case there are system
probems with one provider, or in case there is some special odd business
that only does one of the too. Normally the businesses that only do one are
more common outside of the US, but I still advise having one of each.
