Ok I understand now.   How much power does the camera draw?  You may well be 
able to simply tap the hot wire to one of the back up lights.   I think if 
it was me that's what I'd try.  The worst that can happen is a blown fuse. 
You could tap both back up light circuits, run the wires to a central point 
and tie them together.  That would split the load between the two.

Thanks. What I actually need is a lead that only becomes energized when the
car is put into reverse.  The reverse fuse circuit is bundled with several
other circuits, so unless I can find a lead somewhere under the dash that
handles just the reverse lights, I'm pretty sure I'll end up running an
extra line. Not a big deal, was just hoping to avoid running a 12v wire from
front to back.
