[Farmall] G-6

The is off-topic for Farmalls, and I apologize for the intrusion. But I
am a loyal reader.

I haven't posted for several years, since I sold my 1948 "H" and bought
a spiffy 'newer' 1949 Worthington G-6 in its place. The "H" always
wanted to turn over out on my rolling acreage near Cincinnati: that was
not a good feeling, since I don't own a parachute.

The G-6 was attractive because it had a low center of gravity, plenty of
power, and double drive wheels. It spent its younger days pulling gang
mowers on a golf course in Cincinnati, and was apparently well-maintained.

I removed the extra wheels so that I could maneuver the woodlot trails
carved thru the forest. My brother-in-law added electronic ignition and
the carb was completely rebuilt by a good old Adams County mechanic. All
tires look good, but the paint is not so bright as when I bought it in 2002.

Here's my problem: I'm aging fast and do not have any more friends who
want firewood; running and maintaining the G-6 have become a chore, and
that next birthday is coming.

How might an inexperienced city dweller sell such an unusual machine?
I'd want it to be used and have a good home, but don't want to get
scalped at some auction.

Advice appreciated.
