Thanks for the info, I never had a tractor with a ta on it just 3 H's and 1 C. If the tractors ta doesnt work, will it have to be replaced to use the tractor? I appreciate any info on this and thanks for responding, Also do you know anyone thats familiar with TD6 crawer tractors? He has one of those too thanks again Ed

The only way I know is to operate it. While the tractor is moving,
imply pull back on the lever all the way, not touching the clutch
edal. The tractor's ground speed should immediately drop almost in half
ith no sounds or vibrations coming from anywhere. Releasing the lever
orward should immediately and smoothly increase the ground speed to
here it was. The TA works the same regardless of the transmission, but
he difference in speed is most noticeable at the higher speeds, so try
t in 2nd or 3rd. Generally speaking (from experience) the TA either
orks or it doesn't - nothing in between. If the seller suggests that
it just needs adjustment", I would be concerned, as all the adjustments
o is determine the position of the lever when the TA engages.

the street has. Any hints would be great thanks in advance Ed
