[AT] tread design

I pulled out my copy of Nebraska tractor tests and started looking for 
diamond treads on the front. I saw a Massey, an Allis and a Ford with those 
tires on the front. All were in the 125-150 hp range. Each machine had duals 
as well. I'm guessing this was a short lived new technology, probably for 
flotation as was already suggested. Looks to me turning would require a lot 
of braking.
