[AT] Titan 10/20

The plugs are a very unusual thread, I think they are 7/8 NPT. They show up
on ebay (used) every so often and fetch a pretty good price. When I was
looking for mine I tried every dealer of antique sparkplugs I could come
across. I think there are some plugs with the same thread but not the
correct reach. I finally came down to 4 options. Make them, buy used ones
when available on ebay, buy 1/2" and use adapters on the threads (pretty
common method), or buy them from the one guy that had them. I paid $75 each
for them. I can't remember who it was but he used to advertise in Gas Engine
Magazine all the time. It's been 4-5 years since I bought mine, hopefully he
still has some.

OK, got to digging and here is where I bought them from;

SPARK plugs: NOS obsolete numbers and many brands, some back to 1898, over
80,000 in stock, 62 page price list, $2. Donald McKinsey, PO Box 94H,
Wilkinson, IN 46186.**25-YR**

Maybe you can search around and come up with a phone number, he doesn't
advertise one.

The plugs that came out of mine were built using Mica wahers, like you
rebuild igniters on hit-and-miss engines with. One day when I have nothing
else to do I'll try to rebuild mine.

By the way, most everyone I have talked to does not use a crank on these
tractors. I prime mine with some gas and 2-3 pulls of the flywheel later
it's running.

Best of Luck,
John Hall
