[AT] SE Old Thresher's Reunion--Denton NC

Al, it might be the best Old Threshers ever with temps like they are 
predicting.  I won't be going but would like to go once when the temps are 
bearable.

How are you guys for rain?  We've gotten 3 1/2 inches in the last two days 
but it was terribly dry before that.  Up to the north of us, from Washington 
up to the Smithfield Va area it is terrible.
I was up there last weekend.  Corn is about 3 to 4 feet tall, twisted up and 
brown with a stalk about as big as your thumb.  Cotton and peanuts didn't 
look as bad.  Too early to tell on the beans yet.
