My brother had the gas heater in a VW beetle and I dont' recall just how 
successful it was. Normally the heat from the engine fan blew through the 
vents to provide some heat in winter but in the cold weather it was not 
enough and needed the extra gas heater. I don't think it was meant for Sask. 
winters though.
