when  the town of Clay city had its  Centenial in  1973   a lot of people 
dug out old tractors, and went hunting   old tractors---  they   displayed 
those in one of the   fair buildings,  they had  special  tractor pulls and 
the  like--   so I guess  it was the first  
 
the first MODERN show  was probably the  Wabash  valley   ( vigo county 
fair)  show,     OR   White river Valley  Antique assoc.   show...
