Another option would be one of the aftermarket front mount rear PTO
driven blowers. The local dealer sells a bunch of them, mounted to the
mid sized Cub Cadets and Mahindras. They basically use a belt or gearbox
on the PTO to drop down to a jack-shaft that then goes up front to the
blower.

I always thought the easy way would be to mount a PTO pump on the rear,
with a a large reservoir, then run lines up to a hydraulic motor on the
blower. Would be easy enough to do and would eliminate a lot of crud.
Plus the rear reservoir would add weight for traction. Figure it works
on a skid steer.
