Some of the better (expensive) digital meters have an analog graph  
typically on the bottom of the display.
I find I use the $1.99 on sale,  Harbor Freight meters the most. They have 
a built in 1 1/2 volt and 9 volt  tester that is very handy.  I have several 
and have them in all the  vehicles.  I also like the cheap lamp type 
testers. One problem with higher  end digital meters are they are to high 
impedance for many tests.  They  will indicate voltage when none is really present.  
I have a lab Fluke  meter that I haven't turned on for a couple of years. I 
mostly use a "Wiggins"  for AC tests.
