Sounds like a couple of the local papers here. They changed the online
format and added "features" that are mostly junk, things like, words for
today, thoughts for the day, minutes of wisdom. Then they cut the NEWS
section down to boot. They had a survey asking about the new look, so
far it has been running about 90% negative, but they haven't changed it
back and it's been three weeks!
