[AT] Snow Blower

How much snow do you
get?  And how much accumulates at one time?  Where I live, a rotary
broom on the front of a tractor is MUCH more practical than a snow
blower.  It works faster, handles up to 15 inches of snow (with an
18-inch diameter brush) and doesn't even require chains to make the
tractor move.  It's no good in an ice storm, but neither is a snow
blower.  A rotary broom doesn't throw snow everywhere, and you can use
it in the summer to keep sidewalks and parking lots clean.  I'm thinking
VERY seriously of investing in a walk-behind unit.  I already have
access to a 60-inch rotary broom at our church, but it would be
convenient to have a 24-inch one at home.

The nice thing about a
rotary broom is that when the brush chokes (gets completely full of
snow) it just keeps going until the snow moves out of the road. You
won't freeze your face off while using a rotary broom.  Try one, you'll
like it.
