Hello, I have a Farmall 350 here at my shop. It is a 1957 model row crop,
and at the end of the serial number it has an S stamped on the serial number
plate. Does anyone know what the S means? Also it only has the 2 hydraulic
remote levers, most any of these model tractors I seen, had 3 levers. Was it
an option to get the 3 levers hydraulics, on these tractors?
The clutch on this tractor doesn't let out (or grab) until the clutch pedal
is almost out. The guy that bought the tractor from a dealer used, many
years ago told us that, the clutch pedal has been that way ever since he
bought it. I drove the tractor yesterday, and the clutch works fine, and
also the T/A. My question is, the adjustment on the clutch rod is almost all
the way out on the threads. I was going to try and adjust the clutch, to see
if I can get a little less free travel. How do I adjust the T/A rods, so I
don't loose anything on it? I am probably going to buy this tractor for
myself, but after looking at the adjustment on the clutch rod, I figured it
may need a clutch. It is a nice old tractor, with excellent tin, that has
been kept in a shed all or most of it's life, and out of the elements.
Thanks for any information about this tractor. Kevin.
