Hello,

If you go to this website, there is a free parts manual for your H that
might help.

http://www.cleancomputes.com/Cub/H%20-%20HV/index.html

I have never seen an H with a tachometer, so I can't help you on that.
I doubt if an H was equipped to have a tach in 1950, but I can be wrong
and someone more familiar with an H would know.

What I would do, if the Massey tachometer worked, would be to find the
tach drive for the Massey gauge, since that was what it was designed to
take, and use it. If that didn't work, I would have to see what kind of
tach drive would fit.

Does anyone know if all tach drives are the same? In that case, you
could replace it with any tach drive you can find that would fit an H.
But you may just have to buy a new tachometer, complete, if they don't
sell drives separately.

Hope this helps. If you don't have a parts manual, do take time to
download the one on Clean Computes. I got the one for my Super A from
there, and I don't know where I would be without it. Or maybe I do,
arriving close to frustration! :)
