IH didn't offer a seat with a backrest on it during H production.  Someone
added it on later.

Does the top cover of the transmission have a trench cut out of it for the
seat bracket?  The '39's did and I think early '40s may have too.

& some were used 0n '40's, but I don't find any proof of that even on
'39's!  Any ideas?
